  • DK Mental Health provides individual and couples therapy. We specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, women’s health, life transitions, self-worth, relationship challenges, and sexual health. Our goal is to offer personalized care tailored to your unique needs.

  • We work with adults, including individuals and couples. Our focus is on supporting women navigating personal challenges, couples seeking to enhance their connection, and anyone striving to improve their mental and emotional well-being.

  • The first session, or intake session, is focused on understanding your history, current concerns, and goals for therapy. This allows us to tailor our approach and ensure we’re providing the most effective care for your needs.

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which helps establish momentum and consistency in the therapeutic process. Over time, sessions may be spaced out based on progress and goals. We’ll collaborate with you to determine the best schedule.

    Each therapy session is 50 minutes, whether you are attending individual or couples therapy.

  • Yes, we provide virtual therapy sessions for clients located in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. This ensures flexibility and accessibility while maintaining a high standard of care.

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments may incur a fee.

    • Individual Intake: $185

    • Individual Session: $165

    • Couple Intake: $205

    • Couple Session: $185

    If you have questions about payments or session costs, feel free to contact us for more information.

  • We are currently an out-of-network provider, meaning we do not accept insurance directly. However, we can provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt) that can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We recommend verifying your out-of-network benefits with your insurance provider.
